What's a Fesh?

Feis time is always fun. The School ramps up feis practice and parents scrape and scrimp together money to go feisana. And people have no idea what your talking about:
"So what do you do this weekend?" a soon to be enlightened soccer parent co-worker might ask an Irish dance parent co-worker at the company coffee pot Monday morning.
"Well,our dance parent begins, we drove four hours to the "Greater Cleveland Feis" where my son advanced to Open in the Hornpipe and managed to place in his other sets. It was so great and next Saturday we are heading to the Detroit International Feis.
Irish dance Parent walks away whistling a jig. Soccer parent turns to single woman near by and asks: "what's a fesh?"
Single woman shrugs, fills her coffee cup and walks away.
